Massachusetts launched a media campaign Friday aimed at reminding residents to wear a face covering whenever they're out in public to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The initiative -- called "Mask Up MA!" -- will feature testimonials and public service announcements on various media channels.

A masked Wally the Green Monster, the mascot of the Red Sox, is featured in one of the spots holding cue cards telling people to mask up.

A Mask Up MA website includes tips on the proper way to wear a mask and downloadable fact sheets.

Gov. Charlie Baker issued an order that went into effect on May 6 requiring face masks or cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible.
